Cancer Family Assistance is a non-profit organization created to bring hope through financial support to single parents in the South Bay that are struggling with cancer. Our financial assistance program will help alleviate some of the financial stresses that comes with cancer treatments and raising a family. Each year there are 1.4 million new cases of cancer diagnosed, and some patients will actually have to chose between receiving treatment or not based on their financial means. Cancer Family Assistance is the only non-profit in California dedicated solely to these single parent families. If a parent chooses to fight for their life, they should be given the opportunity to do so.
